The University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) Library would like to invite
you to a seminar-workshop entitled “Storytelling for Growth and Healing” to be held on November 29, 2008 at the UNEP Mini-Theater, Iriga City. Our target participants are teachers, librarians and students.

The objectives are to create stories that reflect Bicol culture and identity, to learn a variety of storytelling techniques and to appreciate culture and the arts through storytelling. We have invited Zarah Grace C. Gagatiga, a sought-after speaker from Manila to talk on this topic.

A minimal registration fee of P500.00 will be charged to cover food, certificate and handouts. Endorsement of CHED and DepEd Regional Office is available upon request. As part of this year’s celebration of the National Book Week, the Aquinas University Library is sponsoring an Echo-Seminar on “Library Management: Issues and Updates” to be held at the AQ Library Audio-Visual Section on November 27, 2008, 1:00-5:00 pm. The objectives of this echo-seminar are: a) to present the library as a partner in providing for a socially and engaging center for learning and; b) to serve as a forum for librarians to discuss about current trends, issues and approaches related to their profession for quality results.

This invitation is extended to both the professional librarians and library support staff who recognize the importance of understanding the ideas of the changing universe of information and the context of collaborative activities among information professionals.

A Registration Fee of Fifty pesos (P50.00) entitles the participants to snacks, certificate of participation and certificate of attendance, if so required.
